Billy J. Dorsett

Billy J. Dorsett was born February 20, 1942, to George Dorsett and Rosie Lee Dorsett in Osceola. Billy departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Great Rivers Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories a sister, Barbara Bell; three daughters, Shatoya Weaver, Christina Dorsett all of Blytheville, and Tammy Dorsett Logan of Fayetteville, N.C.; six sons, Anthony Shaw, Courtney Dorsett, Kenneth Taylor, all of Blytheville, Eric Dorsett of Flint, Mich., Joseph Dorsett of Chesapeake, Vir., and Timothy Jones of Detroit, Mich.; a special nephew, George Dorsett of Blytheville. He also leaves 16 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10-10:55 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation, 634 West Main Street, Blytheville. Service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
