Vivian Lavona Riddick

Vivian Lavona Riddick, 83, of Manila, passed from this life Friday, April 12, 2019, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in the Weona Community and raised near Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Willie “WL” and Marie Mallet Moss and had been a Manila resident since 1995. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing and watching cooking shows; but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mac Moss and Wayne Moss, and one sister, Bobbie Nell Loucks.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Murray of Manila and Patricia Cissell and husband Rodney of Wilson; one brother, Ronnie Moss of Franklin, Tenn.; one sister, Sue Sanders of Searcy. She also leaves six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Rusty Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be grandsons, Heath Murray, Jason Murray, Jeremy Murray, Justin Cissell, Joshua Cissell and Adam Henard.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
