Robert Walter Caruthers Williams

Robert Walter Caruthers Williams was born on Feb. 26, 1989, in Blytheville to Brenda Williams and Robert Walter Caruthers Jr. Robert entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Pilgrim Rest in Blytheville. He attended Blytheville High School where he excelled in football and basketball. Robert was very gifted and could do anything from working on cars and painting homes. There was nothing that he could not do. He was a “jack of all trades.” Robert lived and loved life and was blessed with having so many that also loved him. Robert truly was a friend to all.

On March 1, 2013, he was united in marriage to Courtney Renee King, and to this union two children were born. Robert was blessed with a very large family. There was nothing that they couldn't ask of him that he would not do. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aurelious Burdin to whom Robert was deeply devoted; his grandfathers, Robert Walter Caruthers Sr. and Billy Burdin; his grandmothers, Helen Caruthers and Peggy Burdin; his nephew, Chanston Williams; his niece, Jazel Burdin.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Brenda Williams (Leroy Williams of Hayti, Mo.) Blytheville; his father, Robert Walter Caruthers Jr (Jennifer Caruthers) in Lebanon, Tenn.; his wife, Courtney Williams of Ripley, Tenn.; his children, Aniyah Williams of Blytheville, Keith Williams of Jonesboro, Destiny Williams of Ripley, Tenn., Aubrey Booker of Hayti, Mo., Desirray Williams of Ripley, Tenn., Tyler Booker of  Hayti, Mo., Jordan Bunton of Hartford, Ky., Raiven Dalcourt-Williams of Franklin, Ky., Heaven Bunton of Hartford, Ky., Nevaeh Bunton of Hartford, Ky., and Journey Bunton of Hartford, Ky.; his sisters, Portia Caruthers of Osceola, Jennifer Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Tracey Carruthers of Osceola, Aurelia Williams of Paragould, and Jessica Williams of Blytheville; his brothers, Jason Burdin of Hayti, Mo., Jeffery Burdin (Hanen Burdin) of  Midland, Ga., Jamie Burdin of Blytheville, Robert Carruthers III of Smyrna,Tenn., Robert Caruthers IV (Shelly Caruthers) of Lebanon, Tenn.; his stepbrother, George Theragood of Lebanon, Tenn.; Jakoby Briggs, a son whom he treated as his own; Richie Howerton, a special brother and friend; a special friend, Shavada Bunton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, until time of service at Carney Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery.
