Betty Jo Zieba

Betty Jo Zieba, 60, of Marie passed away March 17, 2019, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was a homemaker and a member of Nodena Baptist Church in Nodena. Betty was born Dec. 26, 1958 in Wilson to Marvin and Betty Chamberlin Thomas. She was preceded in death by her father, her son Josh Martin, two brothers, Donald and Larry Thomas.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Thomas of Marie; her husband, John Zieba of Marie; one daughter, Brandy Martin of Wilson; one stepdaughter, Sara Torres of Hebron, Ind.; one stepson, Greg Zieba of Hebron, Ind.; six brothers, Ronald Thomas and Danny (Tess) Thomas of Marie, Gary (Christine) Thomas of Chambersburg, Pa., Maurice (Connie) Thomas of Beckville, Texas, Charles (Debbie) Thomas of Tampa, Fla., and Randy (Bonnie) Thomas of Brighton, Tenn.; four sisters, Billie (Kenny) Stewart and Viola (Bobby) Hill of Osceola, Sheila (Sammy) Gaither of West Memphis, and Carol Howard of Marie; six grandchildren, Chris Martin and Joshua Martin of Wilson, Zachary Zieba, Luke Torres, Daryn Torres and Bailee Torres of Hebron, Ind.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with Pastor Ed Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
