Wayne Lee Burnett, Sr.

Wayne Lee Burnett Sr. passed away March 9, 2019, at his home in Marion at the age of 68. He was retired from Sara Lee Company and a 1969 graduate of Osceola High School. Mr. Burnett was born Jan. 18, 1951, in Dyess to Walter Lee Burnett and Jean Buie. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Randy Burnett and one sister Shirley Davis.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Lee Burnett, Jr. of Marion and Dustin Andrew Burnett of West Memphis; three daughters, Amy Roe and Kerri Debose of Osceola, and Mallory Paige Shuburte of Marion; two brothers, Terry Burnett and Jimmy Burnett, both of Osceola; one sister, Connie Whitecotton of Birmingham, Ala; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Rivercrest Gardens at Marie with Bro. Jason Glenn officiating.
