Robert Preston Lomax

Robert Preston Lomax, 67, of Lake City passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born Oct. 31, 1951, in Manila to Melvin Eugene “Gene” and Avis Billings Lomax. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, enjoyed music, hunting, fishing, and loved his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include three children, Tracey Kevin Lomax of Fort Worth, Texas, Nathan Shane Lomax (Tabitha) of Lake City and Chastity Joy Lomax Ciepiela (Keith) of Armorel; two grandchildren, Brinden Seth Lomax and Jayden Rain Ciepiela.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Avis Lomax; and one sister, Barbara Jean Lomax.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. March 4, at the Kingdom Hall, 941 County Road 543, Monette, with Bro. Steve Singleton officiating.
