Paula Kay McCormick

Paula Kay McCormick, 63, of Monette, passed from this life Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Flint, Mich., she was the daughter of the late T.J. and Pauline Williams Pierce and had been a longtime Michigan resident before making her home in Monette in 2011. She was a 1973 graduate of Central High School in Flint and was retired from the former Fisher Auto Body Manufacturing in Niles, Mich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dorsie Pierce.

Survivors include her son, Jason Cook and his wife Heather of Cheyenne, Wy.; three grandchildren, David Cook, Lexi Cook and Conner Cook; and one great-grandson, Holden Ferrari.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in the Manila Cemetery with Heather Cook delivering the eulogy. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

The family requests family and friends meet at the funeral home at 10:30 for the procession to the cemetery.
