Terry Calvin Marshall

Terry Calvin Marshall was born on June 23, 1955, to the late Willie and Toretha Marshall of Blytheville. Terry attended Harrison High School of Blytheville and later after integration Blytheville High School. He was a member of the class of 1973. He was full of love and admiration for his family, friends and loved ones. Terry also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Terry had many skills as a handyman, such as maintenance and carpentry. He previously worked in the weatherization department at Mississippi County Arkansas E.O.C. as well as property maintenance in the area complex.

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, Terry departed this life leaving behind his wife Shirley Marshall of the home. He was baptized at an early age at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Pearl James. He was affiliated in his later years with Open Door House of Prayer under the leadership of Bishop Henry L. Mays, he was of the Pentecostal faith.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Toretha Marshall, and his siblings Ella, Rosie, Joyce, Cotrell, Hubbard and Willie.

He leaves behind his loving wife Shirley Marshall of the home; his siblings, Ada McDonald and Jewel Mosby (A.D.) both of Champagne, Ill., Bennie Marshall of Dayton, Ohio, and Billy Joe Marshall of Champagne, Ill.; a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at New Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Blytheville with the funeral immediately following at 10 a.m. Bishop Henry Mays will be officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
