Eddie Lee Spears

Eddie Lee Spears, 59, of Osceola, passed away Jan. 16, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a carpenter and a lumberjack. Mr. Spears was born March 10, 1959, in Roseland to Jeff Spears and Ada Mae Jones Jefferson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers,, James Spears, Levi Spears and Cleveland Spears.

He is survived by a special companion Rosie Heard of Osceola; sons, Eddrick Spears of Conroe, Texas, Antonio Heard and Melvin Daniels of Blytheville; daughters, Carolyn (Kevin Jones) Robinson of Osceola, Emmandra Williams and Mienesha Williams of Conroe, Texas; two sisters, Annie Sargent of Gosnell and Linda Stewart of Blytheville; three half sisters, Carrie Jones and Marsha Potts of Osceola and Georgia Ware of Blytheville; five grandchildren.

Visitation was from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial was at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Rev. Burton Furlow officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge.
