Lottie Neilia Marjorie Hale, 74, of Monette, widow of Melvin Hale, passed from this life, Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born and raised in Twining, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Pearl Shoup Spencer and had been a Monette resident since 1981. She was retired from the former Emerson Electric Company in Paragould, retiring after 22 years of service. She was an antique and classic car enthusiast, member of the Buffalo Island Classic Cruisers and the Northeast Arkansas Street Rod Association. Her prized possession was her '36 Chevy Business Coupe.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Rene Pitts of Monette, Beverly Laginess and husband Charles of Radcliff, Ky., and Mary Barron and husband Chad of Dyersburg, Tenn.; five sisters, Uella Johnson of San Diego, Calif., Ruth West of Marion, Ind., Clara West of Gould City, Mich., Blanch Mann of Twining, Mich., Lorena Warner of Leslie, Mich. She also leaves five grandchildren, Heather Morgan, Jeremy Laginess, Joshua Laginess, Brice Pitts and McKinly Barron four great-grandchildren,

Wyatt Atcher, Ephraim Morgan, Abigail Morgan and Charlotte Laginess.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Reverend David Price officiating. Burial followed in Macey Cemetery in Monette. The family received visitors from 11 until service time at the funeral home.
