Harold Coleman

Harold Coleman, 80, of Zwolle, La., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at his home. Harold was born in Tomato to James Ambrose and Stella Viva Blackwell Coleman and was a retired instrumentationalist/pipefitter, working for Brown and Root all around the United States. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force and was of the Church of God faith. Harold liked tinkering with boat motors and fixing things. He loved working with his hands and teaching his grandchildren to do the same, and he also loved fishing, especially for crappie! He was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. Harold loved going to yard sales to find “antiques”. Harold loved his family and his grandchildren could do no wrong. He always called everyone checking on the family, keeping everyone together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ambrose and Stella Coleman; seven brothers and sisters, Irene Harris, Daniel Coleman, Johnny Coleman, Gurline King, Roy Coleman, Nedra Hall and Nellie Robbins; and his companion of 20 years, Agnes M. “Aggie” Michayluk.

Harold leaves three children, Rory Wayne Coleman of Sand Springs, Okla., Beverly Gail Wildes (Craig) and Janey Marie Coleman, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jeffery Ellis, Jr. (Janet), Brandon Ellis (Samantha), Jeremy Wildes, Clint “Clank” Wildes (Shyla), Britni Landers (Justin), Tiffani Sterling (Andrew), Tyler James Davis (Courtney) and Anthoney Davis (Tori); and 14 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Adryiane, Noah, Triniti, Caitlyn, Aidan, Brandon Jr., Hunter, Keyleigh, Bella, Janson, Cashe, Myles and Cooper.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, at 1:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
