Doyle Allen Prince, 69, of Manila, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Doyle was born to James “Bud” and Mary (Moody) Prince in Osceola. He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Doyle was retired from Delta Asphalt and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Loyde and Floyd Prince; and one sister, Mary Weeks.

He is survived by his wife, Velma E. Prince of the home; daughter, Tiffany Jones and her husband Ricky of Manila; four brothers, Jim Prince (Kathy) of Cache, Okla., Carl Prince of Greers Ferry, Wayne Prince of Booneville and Earl Prince of Tyler, Texas; four sisters, Lilly Anderson (Billy) of Lake City, Patsy Earwood of Congers, Ga., Elaine Hargan of Mountain View and Wanda Prince of Willow Springs, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Tri and Brody Jones of Manila.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Wayne Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
