Perry Clyde Rothrock, Jr

Mr. Perry Clyde Rothrock Jr., 87, of Blytheville passed from this life on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home. Born to Perry Clyde and Lillian Boyd Rothrock in Blytheville, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and retired owner/operator of Rothrock Drug Company. Perry also served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Perry was a graduate of the Columbia Military Academy, served on the Blytheville City Council for 16 years, was a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church and also served on the school board of the Presbyterian Christian Academy.

Perry is survived by his wife Linda Taylor Rothrock of the home; children, Lee Ann Rothrock Stroud of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Dr. Kathy Rothrock Elliott and her husband Denny of Blytheville, Dr. Perry Clyde Rothrock III of Memphis, Tennessee and Taylor Rothrock of Germantown, Tennessee; grandchild, Taylor Steele Stroud; sister and brother in laws, Lucy Taylor of Blytheville, Susie Foster of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, John Taylor of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and special Caretaker, Betty Stone.
