Clayton Wheeler of Baton Rouge was born September 15, 1990 to Corey Wheeler and Barbara Banieh in Blytheville.

He departed this life on Sunday November 18, 2018 in Baton Rouge at the age of 28. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lucielle Hancock.

Clayton was known to his family and friends as “Clay”. He attended Blytheville Public School and then continued his education at Camelot College in Baton Rouge.

Clay is survived by his parents: Corey (Jennifer) Wheeler, Sr. of Blytheville and Barbara (Joseph) Banieh of Houston, Texas, his paternal grandparents: Clayton “TC” Wheeler and Evelyn “Diane” Wheeler, both of Blytheville, three brothers: Jamal Young of Raleigh, NC, Corey Wheeler Jr. of Houston, and Treveon Wheeler of Blytheville, three sisters: Tahia Wheeler, Savannah Wheeler and Skye Wheeler, all of Blytheville, one nephew: Carson Moore of Blytheville. Clay also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Odale Jones is officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Blytheville.
