Bobbie Brackin Walter

Bobbie Brackin Walter, 68, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Bobbie was born in Blytheville to James and Estell Wright Brackin. She owned and operated a childcare business for 53 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and doing crafts. Bobbie was such an unselfish person, she was always taking care of others and putting her friends and family’s needs before her own.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter, Sr.; her parents; one son, Tommy Walter, Jr.; one brother; and three sisters.

Bobbie leaves four children, Jeremy Walter of Blytheville, Joshua Walter of Gosnell, Jamie Walter of Blytheville and Tyler Erickson of Blytheville; six sisters, Barbara Raspberry of Weakly, Tennessee, Lease Carr of Half Moon, Sue David and her husband Richard of Jonesboro, Dorothy David of Blytheville, Shirley David of Pauline, South Carolina and Patsy Hyatt of Rome, Georgia; two grandchildren, J.T. Walter and Ashely Roberts and her husband Trey; and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. T.J. Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
