Missionary Samantha Royster of Blytheville was born July 12, 1922 in Rosa, Arkansas to the late Neal Royster and the late Pearl Leno Royster. She was a retired Insurance agent, a member of Nehemiah Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Blytheville and was the District Missionary of Blytheville District. Ms. Royster passed away at Heritage Square Nursing and Rehab in Blytheville on July 28, 2018 at the age of 96. She is preceded in death by her parents Neal Royster and Pear Leno Royster, one brother James Carl Seals, three sisters Claree Sanders, Montana Swayzer and Rebecca Royster. She is survived by eight nieces Earnestine (John) Stewart of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Hazel (Earnest) Clark of Blytheville, Inez (Mose) Crockett of Raytown, Missouri, Joyce Harris, Shelly Swayzer and Sheila Williams all of Kansas, Miranda Swayzer of Kansas City, Missouri and Mae Frances Hale of Largo, Florida, two nephews Reader (Juanita) Currents of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Grady (Terri) Swayzer of Kansas City, MO and a special spiritual daughter Missionary Lynda F. (Elder. Melvin L Williams) Williams of Blytheville. The Visitation will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nehemiah Temple C.O.G.I.C in Blytheville. The funeral will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Nehemiah Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Blytheville. Dr. David L. Corns, the pastor of Nehemiah Temple C.O.G.I.C., will be officiating and Bishop Jewell R. Wither will do the eulogy. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
