Rick Miller

Rick Miller, 62, of Lafe, passed from this life Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at his home. Born in Paragould he was the son of the late Marvin Edgar and Geneva Ellen Lingo Miller and a longtime resident of the Lafe and Paragould area. Prior to returning to the northeast Arkansas area, he had been a nine year resident of Oxnard and Los Angeles, Calif. He was a graduate of Black River Vo-tech and the owner/operator of Miller's Auto Body and Sales in Lafe and Paragould. He enjoyed fishing, music, building muscle cars, gardening and grilling. Rick was recently baptized and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Stephan Miller, Jerry Miller and David Miller; two sisters, Florence "Sis" Miller Crockett and Bonnie Miller Crockett.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Cheryl Thrower Miller of the home; two sons, Dirk Miller and wife Krysta of Paragould and Marcus Miller of Las Vegas, Nev.; three daughters, Michelle Harris and husband Brian of Mountain Home, Jennifer Buck and Kamela Miller, both of Paragould; six brothers, Bob Miller of Kansas City, Mo., John Miller, Edgar Miller, Bill Miller, Gary Miller and Patrick Miller, all of Paragould; four sisters, Yvonne Martin of Oak Grove, Sue Smith of Mountain Home, Mary Wilkinson and Sharon Hatcher, both of Paragould; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Robbs Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould with Rev. John Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral and Cremation Service of Leachville.
