Charles Lee Meade

Charles Lee Meade, 72, Joiner died July 2, 2018 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was a retired math teacher for Rivercrest School District in Wilson and a member of First Baptist Church in Frenchman Bayou. He was born October 21, 1945 in Dermott, Arkansas to John and Charlean Stubblefield Meade, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Clarence Meade, two sisters Lillian Calloway and Beatrice Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Diana Meade of Joiner, two sons Charles Keith Meade and Adam Meade of Joiner, three daughters Rolanda Meade and Sandra Meade of Gosnell and Elaine Marion of Las Vegas, one brother John Meade, Jr. of Dermott, five sisters Brenda Maddox of Dermott, Leaster Gardener, Johnnie Lea Sanders, Alberta Stapleton and Bernice Meadows of Omaha, Nebraska, fourteen grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 12-2 p.m.; the funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Promiseland COGIC in Osceola. Burial will be at Rivercrest Gardens in Marie, with Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
