C.J. Parks

C.J. Parks, 92, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center.

C.J. was born in Rector, Arkansas to Ira and Fannie Parks. He was a retired mechanic and Littrell-Ozier Ford Company and later at Littrell Ford Company. He was a very active member of First United Methodist Church. He served as the communion steward and treasurer of Pathfinders Sunday school class for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Parks; his parents; and brother, Dawen Parks.

C.J. is survived by his daughter, Deborah Goforth and her husband Jimmy of Blytheville; three grandchildren, John Goforth, Sandra Thurman, and Teresa Goforth; one great-granddaughter, LuAnne Shaw; and special friends and neighbors, Steve and Shirley Taylor, Connor Frazier, and Helen Emery Jones.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zach Roberts officiating. Burial will be private.
