Michael “Mike” Clark

Michael “Mike” Clark, 62, of Luxora, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mike was born in Blytheville to Howard and Elizabeth Dillard Clark. He was the construction foreman for Associated Brigham Contractors and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid deer hunter who loved the outdoors and shooting guns. Mike loved his job and working with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews play any sports and watching NASCAR. Mike loved to grill, especially steak, and could grill the best steak you could ever eat.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike leaves three brothers, Howard Clark, Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee, Tim Clark of Paragould, and Shane Clark (Pamela) of Saulsbury, Tennessee; one sister, Connie Welch (Chris) of Joiner; and eight nieces and nephews, Chad Clark, Dustin Clark, Cody Clark, Cage Clark, Skylar Clark, Tara Clark, Timothy Clark, and Hezekiah Clark; and a special uncle, Bill Dillard of Luxora.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cody Clark and Grover Stracener officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
