Mildred Aycock, 84, of Athens, Tennessee and formerly of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home in Tennessee.

Mildred was born in Dover, Arkansas to Blaine and Cleo Turney. She was a homemaker and a member of Decatur Church of God in Decatur, Tennessee. She loved to quilt, crochet and be outside working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Binford; her parents; a son, Ricky Aycock; one grandson, John Gibson; and three brothers, Donald, L.G., and Rufus Turney.

Mildred leaves her daughter, Beverly Farmer of Athens, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Michael and Joy Farmer of Athens, Tennessee; two brothers; four sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
