Officer George Anthony Hodgkiss, 31, of Osceola, passed away February 21, 2018. He was born October 6, 1986 to Timothy and Arlene Hodgkiss. He was a patrolman at the Blytheville Police Department, 10-year Veteran with the Army National Guard and a member of Westside Baptist Church in Osceola. Survivors include his wife: Jessalyn Hodgkiss of Osceola; father: Tim Hodgkiss of Jonesboro; mother: Arlene Hodgkiss of Cincinnati, Ohio; step-mother: Lisa Hodgkiss of Jonesboro; Grandmothers: Willow Dean Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, and Martha “Mamaw” England of Osceola; sisters: Jessica Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, Jenny Hodgkiss of Jonesboro, and Rayven Goad of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brothers: Justin Hodgkiss of Cincinnati, Ohio; James Malone of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Jordan Jenson of Jonesboro; nephews: Christian Shown, Cameron Murphy, and Liam Hodgkiss; father-in-law: Kim (Kaci) Burns of Jonesboro; mother-in-law: Jackie England and Kenny Powell of Lepanto; brother-in-laws: Kalen (Hannah) Burns of Paragould, Louie Burks of Jonesboro, and Brodie Burks of Jonesboro; sister-in-law: Lenox Burns of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by grandfathers: Thomas Hodgkiss and Earl “Papaw” England; grandmother: Barbara “Bubby” Goldstein. Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2018, 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.
