Eddie Jean “Peggy” Warrington

Eddie Jean “Peggy” Warrington, 94, of Searcy passed away on Thursday,

February 15, 2018. She was born September 28, 1923, in Blytheville,

to the late Eddie and Sada Burks. Peggy worked 37 years for Arkansas

Missouri Power Company in Blytheville, retiring in 1988. She moved to

Searcy in 1988 to be closer to her family. She was a member of the First

United Methodist Church in Searcy and worked in the church office for many

years. Peggy was a loving mother who always had a smile. She loved her

family and was loved by all that knew her. Peggy is survived by her two

sons, Roland (Susan) Warrington and Eddie (Scott) Warrington; three

grandchildren, Marti Schulte, Shelley Warrington, and Jason Warrington;

one great grandchild, Holden Beckett Schulte; a brother in law, John Perry

Hollingsworth and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by

her parents; her husband, Roland Hiram; an infant daughter, Emma Cornelia

Warrington; a brother, Pat Burks; and a sister, Nema Hollingsworth.

Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church in Searcy,

Wednesday, February 21 at 10 a.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. in Blytheville at Elmwood

Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United
