Matilda Pauline Tipton

Mrs. Matilda Pauline Tipton was born February 4, 1938 in Enola, Arkansas to the late Ambrose Morris and the Late Dolly Pate Morris. She was a retired factory worker, a resident of Mississippi County for over 30 years, she was known by the CB handle “Boss Lady” and was a member of Lepanto Assembly of God. Mrs. Tipton passed away on January 27, 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 79.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tipton of Blytheville; three sons, Gary (Paula) Finley of Lepanto, Donnie (Michelle) Swafford of Blytheville and Steve (Angie) Swafford of Gosnell; one daughter, Debbie Finley of Blytheville; one brother, Charles Morris of North Little Rock; one sister, Marcella Gist of North Little Rock; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Monday January 29, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral will be held the following day, January 30, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Tony Burrow officiating.
