Mr. Johnathan Wayne Akers

Mr. Johnathan Wayne Akers, 26, of Paragould, formerly of Blytheville, passed away on Thursday evening, January 4, 2018. He was born in Blytheville to Jerry Wayne Akers, Sr. and Kathy Ann Inman Akers on January 15, 1991. He attended Blytheville Public Schools and as a child attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Blytheville.

He was a machine operator at Tenneco Monroe in Paragould.

John loved his family. He loved and respected his mother, grandmother, and siblings. He was especially close to his sister Emily. Sometimes after paying all of his bills and money was tight he would go to his sister’s house and raid the refrigerator. His sister would call him and tell him she knew he had taken her cokes! He was a great father to his daughters. His favorite thing to do was to take care of the love of his life, Tybrea Thompson. They had been together for six years and he loved to cook for her and was very content to stay home watching movies or playing games on Play Station 4. He would do anything to make her smile. He also enjoyed playing with his nephews. He was a nice guy and had a big heart.

He was preceded in death by his father and his niece, Lux Akers.

He is survived by his daughters, Xy’in Armani Akers and Ke’mariyae King;

The love of his life, Tybrea Thompson;

His mother, Kathy Ann Akers (David Eiler), of Blytheville;

His brothers, Jerry Wayne Akers, Jr. (and Mariah), of Paragould, and Ryan Eiler and Bryan Eiler, both of Blytheville;

One sister, Emily Akers (Coby Gamble), of Paragould;

His grandmother, Mary Inman, of Blytheville;

Two nephews, Jeremiah Akers and Cache Gamble;

And many friends who will miss him dearly.
