Mary Emma Gaston Brown

Mrs. Mary Emma Gaston Brown, 70 of Blytheville went to be with Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born July 2, 1947 in Madison, Arkansas she was the daughter of Vick Gaston, Sr. and Ernestine Blair Gaston. She was of the Spiritual faith and was a faithful member of Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church where she served on the Missionary and Usher Boards, and was a former employee of Milwaukee Tool.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willis Brown.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory four sons, Frederick (Toya) Wright, Tylan Bohannon, Timothy (Amanda) Bohannon, all of Blytheville and John (Lajuana) Burks of Bartlett, Tenn. One daughter, Lashanna (Tracy) Taylor of Blytheville; two brothers, Vick Gaston, Jr. and H.W. (Gladys) Gaston, all of Blytheville; two sisters, Charlene Young of Blytheville and Patricia (Eddie) Williams of Gosnell; 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from noon until funeral time at 1 p.m. Saturday January 6, 2018 at Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church 1100 South Lake Street.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church. Pastor Frederick Wright will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Gethsemane Garden Cemetery in Blytheville.
