Mr. Albert "Buddy" Carter, Jr.

Mr. Albert "Buddy" Carter, Jr. was born April 15, 1942 in Osceola to Albert and Lillie Edward Carter, Sr. He was a retired factory worker, carpenter and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Carter passed away December 29, 2017 at SMC Medical Center in Osceola at the age of 75.

He is survived by four sons, Anthony Carter of Osceola, Greg Carter of Fresno, Calif., Darrell Carter of Bensenville, Ill. and Vincent Carter of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Patricia Stump of Boling Brook, Ill.; two brothers, Willie Carter of Elkhart, Ind. and Robert Ray Carter of Madison, Wisc.; four sisters, Frances Carter Oliver and Naomi Carter Hastings, both of Memphis, Tenn. and Dorothy Carter and Verlene Palmore Stancle, both of Blytheville; and a host of grand and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Prince Carter; three brothers, Edward Guy Carter, Charles Carter and Ronnie Carter; and one sister, Millicent Carter.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Living Word Cathedral Church in Osceola. Burial at Memory Gardens in Blytheville with Elder Archie Thomas officiating.
