Billy Joe Cooper

Mr. Billy Joe Cooper, 74, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Billy was born in Blytheville and was retired from Randall Company and Tenaris. He was an avid flea market vendor and managed the Blytheville Flea Market for several years. Billy also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Frances Hall Sawyer.

Billy leaves his wife, Frankie Johnson Cooper of the home; one son, James Wesley Cooper and his wife JoAnn of Blytheville; two brothers, Charles Hall and his wife Yvonne of Lawton, Oklahoma and Charles Rutledge of Cooter, Missouri; sisters, Laverne Goneke of Alberta, Alabama and Janice Phillips of Blytheville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 24 at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuenralhome.com.
