Lessie Stubblefield

Lessie Stubblefield, 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. Lessie was born Dec. 6, 1933, to the late John H. and Leora Kiker Haag. She was a member of the Caraway Methodist Church. She retired from the City of Caraway and was co-owner of Stubblefield Insurance in Caraway. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Stubblefield; brothers, Curtis Haag, Nelson Haag and Herbert Haag; sisters, Johnnie Mae Brownfield, Hazel Vincent, Jane Fulenwider and Mary Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Stubblefield of Germantown, Tenn., and Tony (Debbie) Stubblefield of Keiser; grandchildren, Steven (Jessica) Stubblefield, Angie (Perry) Dixon, Alison Stubblefield, Cooper Stubblefield; great-grandchildren, Peyton Stubblefield, Kendall Stubblefield, Paxton Dixon and Greyson Dixon.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Caraway Cemetery with Rick Stevens officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
