Mr. Jerry Lee Snead

Mr. Jerry Lee Snead was born March 21, 1952 in Blytheville to McKinley Murlee Snead, Sr and Savannah Clark Snead. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, after serving his term he enlisted in the Army Reserves for four more years, he was also a retired manager for Staple Cotton and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Snead passed away on October 13, 3017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 65.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, McKinley Murlee Snead, Jr. and Roy Chester Snead.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Jarvis Rowe; his fiancée, Johnnie B. Stubbs of Blytheville; one step-daughter, Seteria (Larry) Dorsey of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Shimeka Snead of Atlanta, Ga., Cynthia Snead Lester of Osceola and Molandra Snead of Blytheville; five sisters, Carrie Lopez of East St. Louis, Ill., Virgie Snead Harvey of Blytheville, Hazel Snead Jones of Bendoff, Iowa and Mary Razor and Marie Snead Freeman, both of Blytheville; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at New Immanuel M.B. Church in Blytheville with Elder Henry Mays officiating. The burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.
