Mrs. Eva Woods Priget, 79, of Murphysboro, Illinois passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home. Born May 18, 1938 in Blytheville, Eva was the daughter of Willie D. and Carrie L Brown Woods.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Pridget of Blytheville; one son, Don Priget of Murphysboro, Ill.; three daughters, Mary Rogers, Mary Ann Davis, both of Murphysboro, Ill. and Inette Gunby of Jonesboro; four sons, Charles Woods of St. Louis, Mo.; June Woods, O.D. Woods, both of Milwaukee, Wis. and Charles Boya Woods of Blytheville; four sisters, Alfredea Dodson of Memphis, Tenn., Reda Moore of Milwaukee, Wis., Lavern ( Riley) Little of Murphysboro, Ill. and Mildred Woods of Blytheville; 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 930 South Lake Street, Blytheville. Bishop Theodis Rucker is the pastor and will also deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

McDonald-Horne Funeral Directors are in charge of services and arrangements.
