Mr. Jack L. Jackson

Mr. Jack L. Jackson, 80, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home.

Jack was born in Portia, Arkansas to Hurshel and Mary (Moore) Jackson. He was a farmer and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Jack was a graduate of Blytheville High School and SMU. He worked as a civil engineer for Michael Baker Construction in Jackson, Mississippi before returning back to Blytheville to farm with his family. Jack was an avid Razorback and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Peggy Jackson.

Jack leaves his wife of 58 years, Nancy Holden Jackson of the home; two children, Kevin Jackson of Blytheville and Cindy, Wade, and Anna Lewis of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bill Jackson and wife Frances of Blytheville and Jim Jackson and wife Linda of Gosnell; and two special caregivers, Twyla Bateman and Alexis Stanback.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Zach Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church.
