Billy Ray Ashley, Sr.

Mr. Billy Ray Ashley, Sr., 56, of Luxora, passed away September 1, 2017 in Collierville, Tennessee. He was born on November 12, 1960 to Charles Edward Ashley and Dorothy Lee Mowery Ashley in Osceola. Mr. Ashley was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky Ashley of Luxora; two sons, Billy Ray (Krista) Ashley and William Edward Ashley, all of Jonesboro; two daughters, Tammy Marie Ashley of Luxora and Tiffany Danyale (Dustin) Davis of Lake City; three brothers, Charles and Ricky Ashley of Blytheville and James Ashley of Lepanto; one sister, Patricia Mann; six grandchildren, Matthew Buys, Nathan Ashley, Traxxon Ashley, Markell Jones, Ella Davis and Collin Trawick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Donald Ashley; and one sister, Nellie Melvin.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will directly follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Osceola.
