Wendell McCormick

Mr. Wendell McCormick, 64, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the SMC Regional Hospital in Osceola.

Wendell was born in Blytheville to Clarence and Lillian (Hickman) McCormick. He was retired from the Blytheville Fire Department and was of the Methodist faith. Wendell loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Hardy. Wendell loved his grandchildren and enjoyed any time that he spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lloyd and Macray McCormick.

Wendell leaves his wife, Tammy McCormick of the home; three children, Barbara “Barbie” McCormick of Port Naches, Texas, Kyle McCormick and his wife Jennifer of Kennett, Missouri and Richard Tillman of San Antonio, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 9 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Cole officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
