Gloria Jean McFarlin

Gloria Jean McFarlin, 75, of Leachville, the widow of Ellis McFarlin, passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna Green Wagner and had been a lifelong resident of the Leachville and Monette areas. She had worked for the former Brown Shoe Company in Leachville and Frolic Footwear in Monette. Jean was of the Church of Christ faith.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Ellis McFarlin, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Stull (John) of Leachville Leona Brewster (Sidney) of Bono; four grandchildren, Tausha Helton (Marvin), John David Stull, Randy Wimberly (Whitney), and Brian Yates; seven great-grandchildren, Chandler Helton, Layne Helton, Maddy Helton, Keegan Jackson, Kamdyn Wimberly, Kacyn Wimberly and Lily Wimberly; two brothers, Bill Wagner and John Wagner, both of Paragould; two sisters, Shirley Southard of Hot Springs and

Susie Taylor of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Graig Stull officiating. Burial will follow in Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Marvin Helton, John David Stull, Little Randy Wimberly, Randy Wimberly, Brian Brewster and Navin Mangroo.

The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
