Doris Jean Horner

Mrs. Doris Jean Horner was born, February 13, 1943 in Tyronza to Lemmie Mosby, Sr. and Georgia Kuykendall. She departed this life on Friday July 28, 2017 at the age 74, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Maxie Horner.

She was a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Carolyn Blair, of Blytheville, Juanita Townsel of Marion and Doris Horner, of Lake Charles, La.; two sons, Larry Burns of Memphis, Tenn. and Douglas Wilson of Blytheville; two sisters, Earnestine Emory of Gary, Ind. and Lula Powell of Atwater, Calif.; two brothers, David Mosby of Milwaukee, Wis. and Lemmie Mosby, Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday August 4, 2017 at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel and the burial will follow at Memory Garden.
