Agnes Inez Canamore

Agnes Inez Canamore, 93, of Lilbourn, Mo., formerly of the Lost Cane community near Manila, passed from this life Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Auby and Minnie Viola Turney Workman and was raised in the Lost Cane community. She attended the Little River Missionary Baptist Church until she and her late husband, Roy Canamore, moved to Catron, Mo., in 1963. Following her husband's retirement from farming in 1976, they settled in Lilbourn, Mo. She was a member of the Catron Baptist Church for many years. Agnes enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and working in her yard. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Standridge, and a brother, Gene Workman.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Jack Morgan of Lilbourn, Mo., and twin grandsons, Lake Morgan and Brad Morgan. She also leaves three sisters, Bernell Baugher of Manila, Laura Bewley of Russellville, and

Helen Perkins of Elaine.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include David Joe Workman, Johnny Key, Allen McCullough, Greg Bewley, David Barber, Curtis Crisp and Steve Baugher.
