Betty Jean Krause

Betty Jean Krause, 69, of Manila, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Manila Nursing Center. Betty was born in Blytheville to Thomas and Earma Imogene (Wilson) Hawkins and was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed all of the activities at the nursing home and always participated. She made numerous friends while at the nursing home and loved all of them and the nursing home staff dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty leaves two sons, Robert and Richard Krause of New Mexico; a daughter, Michelle Krause of Pocahontas; a brother, John Hawkins of Leachville; an aunt, Ole May McClish of Manila; and several grandchildren.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Priscilla Ray officiating. There was no visitation.
