James Lee Spears, Sr.

Mr. James Lee Spears, Sr. passed away on March 3, 2017 in his home in Blytheville. He was 60 years old, born November 3, 1956 to Jeff Spears, Sr. and Ada Jefferson. He was a factory worker by trade.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Spears of Blytheville;

One son, James Lee Spears, Jr. of Blytheville;

One daughter Latricia Nicole Spears (Tracy Marion) of Blytheville;

One step daughter, Ashley Ann Vance of Blytheville;

One brother, Eddie Lee Spears of Blytheville;

Five sisters, Annie Sargent of Blytheville, Linda Stewart of Blytheville, Marsha Potts of Osceola, Georgia Ware of Blytheville and Carrie Ann Vance of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and

Three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Blytheville. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Echols officiating. Internment will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
