School board sets June 13 special election

Monday evening, the Blytheville Board of Education met for their regular monthly meeting and approved a proposal prepared by the district's fiscal agent, First Security Beardsley (FSB), for the issuance of bonds in the amount of $12,680,000. The bond revenue will be used for construction projects at Blytheville High School and to increase teacher salaries across the district.
