Katie Ikenberry

Mrs. Katie Ikenberry, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Heard County, Georgia to William and Winnie (Fincher) Middlebrooks. Katie was a homemaker and was a resident of Blytheville for 51 years. She was an Air Force wife and faithfully moved and took care of her children without complaint throughout her husband's career. Katie loved her family and friends and was loyal to them. Katie will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Weldon Ikenberry, Sr.; her parents and a brother, Charles Middlebrooks.

Katie leaves four children, Karen McClain (Garrett) of Forrest Park, Georgia, William Ikenberry of Blytheville, Dee Ikenberry of Blytheville and Dwight Ikenberry (Michele) of Van Buren, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Coy Camp officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
