Nina R. Beuttenmuller
After a lengthy and ever courageous battle with post-polio syndrome, Nina R. Beuttenmuller of Steele, Missouri passed away on the evening of Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the age of 68.
Nina was stricken with polio at a very young age and as a result would eventually become a paraplegic. She never let this keep her down however. She had a successful career with the U.S. Forest and Soil Conservation Services, maintained her home for her husband and son, spoiled her grandchildren as much as she could, and cared for every stray cat that she came across. Nina always thought of everyone else first and herself last.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant L. "Bud" Beuttenmuller; her parents, James and Dolly Mooring; sister, Joyce and brother, Jimmy.
Nina is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Sharon Shirk; three beautiful grandchildren, Holland, Allie, and Jonathan; a sister, Marilyn; and a brother, Larry.
