William Rucker, Jr.

Mr. William Rucker, Jr., 64, of Blytheville passed away on February 1, 2017 in Jonesboro. He was a retired factory worker and a member of the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father William Rucker, Sr. and his mother Alberta Rogers Rucker; four brothers, Charlie Rucker, Kenno Rucker, Chancery Rucker and Tommy Rucker and three sisters, Lavetta Holloway, Odessa Rucker and Betty Jean Rucker.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Rucker of Paragould;

Two sons, Quentie Walker of Paragould and James (Mikki) Short of Waco, Texas;

Four daughters, Dannielle Polk of Denver, Colo., LaToya (Tally) Whitfield of Blytheville, Vanessa (James) Triplett of Batavia, Ill. and Farrah Walker of Paragould;

Four brothers, Rev. Theodis (Dorothy) Rucker of Gosnell, Rev. Lonnie (Janie) Rucker and Sam (Joyce) Rucker both of Chicago, Ill. and Fabian Rucker of Grand Rapids. Mich.; and

Two sisters, Essie Curry and Linda Rucker both of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville with Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Yarbro.
