Harold F. Springer

Mr. Harold F. Springer, 79, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Harold was born to Charles and Mary Esther (Hoskins) Springer in Blytheville. He was a security guard and was a lifelong resident of Blytheville. Harold loved to play guitar and sing and often played music at the Clean Fun Club. When he was younger he liked to play basketball. Harold loved to fish and play with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Sweeney Springer and second wife, Gracie Hodge Springer; his parents; brothers, David and Donald Springer; sisters, Betty Jablonski and Bobbie Duncan; and brother-in-law, Bobby Crowell.

Harold leaves his sister, Pat Crowell of Gosnell and special friend, Mary Arriola of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
