Dessie Bernice Dunn, 71, of Monette passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Aug. 24, 1945, to the late Harm and Sarah Edna Watkins Finley. Mrs. Dunn was a homemaker, attended Lake City First Assembly of God Church, loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, fishing and watching wrestling.

Survivors include three sons, Robbie (Stephanie) Sarrels of Moore, Okla., John (Amanda) Wilson of Monette, and Larry (Jennifer Duncan) Wilson of Monette; four daughters, Brenda (John) Hamilton of Chicago, Ill., Patsy (David) Haeffner of Norman, Okla., Pamela (CJ) Jones of Dell City, Okla., and Lisa (Bill) Austin of Leachville; three sisters, Norma Jean (James Lamar) Green of Monette, Lorene Ritter of Calico Rock and Lucille Parker of Texarkana; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, J.W. and Floyd Finley; and two sisters, Novella Lane and Roberta McFarland.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Lake City First Assembly of God Church, with burial in Monette Cemetery. Visitation was at the church from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2.

Pallbearers were Douglas Edge, Larry Wilson, Michael Wilbanks, Jerry Lamar, Richard Hale and Mike Beaird. Heath Grisham was honorary pallbearer.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
