Hazle Marie Taylor

Hazle Taylor, 85, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of the Buffalo Island area, passed from this life Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at UAMS in Little Rock. Born in Calico Rock, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Pearline Mae Haigwood Henderson and was raised in the Monette area. She moved to Maumelle in 2014 and was a member of the Indianhead Lake Baptist Church in Sherwood.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Alfred Taylor; three brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren, John Taylor and Stacy Taylor.

Survivors include five sons, Eddie Taylor of Mobile, Ala., Ricky Taylor of Olive Branch, Miss., Danny Taylor of Brickeys, John Taylor of Jackson, Miss., Steve Taylor of Kissimmee, Fla., Billy Joe Taylor of Memphis; three daughters, Linda Blasczczyk of Memphis, Maudie Stelzl (Jim) of Maumelle, Janie Bowien (Mike) of Sherwood; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Leachville with the Rev. Mike Bowien and the Rev. Jim Stelzl officiating. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery in Monette.

The family will receive visitors from 12:30 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
