John Childs, Sr.

Mr. John Childs, Sr. of Blytheville, AR., was born June 28, 1946 to Andrew Childs and Mary Henry. John worked as a farmer.

John departed this life on Sunday December 11, 2016 at St. Bernard Medical center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 70.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John leaves to cherish his loving memories a special friend Louella Leonard of Blytheville, his daughters, Ollie Childs of Blytheville, Betty Johnson of Luxora and Carla Childs of Burlington, Ind., his son Johns Child, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, his sister Katie Childs of Chicago, Ill., 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday December 17, 2016 at Loving Jesus Ministries from 11:00 a.m. -- 1:30 p.m. with services followed immediately. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
