Wanda Smith Runyan, 85, of Black Rock, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late James and Lois Briggs Hollinseed and had lived several years in Woodbury, Tenn., and Peru, Ill., before making her home in Black Rock in 2007.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Runyan; a daughter, Carolyn Smith; one brother, James Hollinseed; and one sister, Lela Hull.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Smith of Snellville, Ga., one daughter, Pam Spence (Bryan) of Imboden; two grandchildren, Carolyn Smith and Wade Spence, both of Imboden; three great-grandchildren,

McKenzie Smith, Emery Spence and Zeke Spence; one brother, Floyd Hollinseed of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Christine Neighbors of Bryant.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
