Charles "Bob" Jackson

Mr. Charles "Bob" Jackson, 82, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville.

Bob was born to Hershel and Mary Frances (Moore) Jackson in Portia, Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and partner in Jackson Brother Farms. Bob was a resident of Blytheville for most of his life and was a member of First Baptist Church. He liked to hunt and fish, as well as play golf and gin rummy. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy June Stallings Jackson; his parents; and daughter, Vickie Jackson Freemyer.

Bob leaves his daughter, Valerie Jackson Kent of Magnolia, Arkansas; brothers, Billy Dean Jackson, Jimmy Joe "Jim" Jackson, and Jack Leon Jackson, all of Blytheville; grandchildren, Kris Gravette, Beau Bishop, Carrie Price, Micah Sudbury, Ashley Stewart, Wesley Ann Thomas, and Virginia Freemyer; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Childers officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the home of Ashley Stewart, 3231 East County Road 262 in Blytheville.
