Phyllis D. Dexter

Ms. Phyllis D. "Ma Fish" Dexter, 73, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born on January 20, 1943 in Gosnell to the late Paul "Snooks" and Virginia (Pinkerton) Hemphill. Phyllis was a LPN and a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Pew.

Phyllis leaves two daughters, Jannine (David) Lowery and Maxine (James) Dexter Peppers;

Two sons, William (Vicki) Craft and Joseph (Debbie) Craft;

One brother, Jimmy Glen (Carolyn) Hemphill;

Two sisters, Connie (Jim) King and Carrie (Mark) Carney;

Seven grandchildren;

Eight great-grandchildren; and

Extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 with Brother Wade Overturf officiating.

Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
